Fourth Sunday in Advent - God’s Rescue Plan: Joy

Welcome to our online service for our final Sunday in Advent. We are continuing in our series looking at God’s Rescue Plan through the birth of Jesus. Various families from the church will be doing our ‘Joy’ themed welcome. It’s been wonderful to have these greetings each Sunday from so many of our church family. The Gosling Family will be lighting the candle on our advent wreath and Catrin will be exploring another item from our rescue kit that helps us to understand God’s rescue plan for our lives.

Third Sunday in Advent - God’s Rescue Plan: Love

Welcome to our Virtual Advent service on Sunday 13th December with the theme of this morning being Love. We continue with God’s rescue plan using a water bottle, the contents of which we all need and noting how water brings refreshment and strengthens us to keep going. Love also does that, especially the love we read about in the Bible.

The age range of our contributors this morning spans around 90 years which is a testament to the strength and depth of our church family. A big thank you to all those involved.

Second Sunday in Advent - God’s Rescue Plan: Peace

Welcome to our virtual service for Sunday 6th December. This is the second Sunday in Advent. The Jaarsma Family will be lighting our candle for us (the candle representing peace) and we have 4 families who will be greetings us at the beginning of the service.

Also during the service, we will be remembering the Lord Jesus Christ by taking part in Communion. This is a family Communion so all the family are encouraged to take part in this. Please have some bread, juice and maybe some grapes to do this.

First Sunday in Advent - God’s Rescue Plan: Hope

On this first Sunday in Advent, Catrin Horrex, one of our Elders, will be bringing us God’s word as we begin a series entitled God’s Rescue Plan and this week we will be focusing on the theme of Hope.

The Advent candle will be lit this week by the Younger Thatchers, and we will be hearing and seeing four of our other families sending us their Advent and Christmas messages.
