An evening of classical love songs with Amanda Roocroft
7.30pm Saturday 9th April at Bluntisham Baptist Church
Amanda is a church member and also one of our leading opera singers, she graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music and has secured an international reputation as one of Britain’s most exciting singers, in opera, concert, and recital. She has performed at many of the world's leading opera houses and festivals including the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, the Glyndebourne Festival, the English National Opera, the Welsh National Opera, the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich, the Netherlands Opera and the Salzburg Festival. On Saturday 9th April she will be performing an evening of classical love songs from composers including Britten, Schumann, Boulanger, Wolf, Chausson, Quilter and Brahms at Bluntisham Baptist Church.
