Underpinned With Prayer

next steps

As with any church project, prayer is the essential element that underpins Next Steps. We value your prayers and this page will give some prayer points for you to use including a downloadable guide.

Pray

We have a wonderful and faithful God. Let’s start by praising Him and giving Him thanks for two really significant answers to prayer:

“Lord, we raise up our grateful thanks for the final Listed Building Certificate which we have now received with all the necessary permissions in place. We also thank you that in these unprecedented times we have received tenders from a number of contractors to carry out the work.

Thank you, Lord, for your unending faithfulness during the challenges of the past 3 years. Amen”

Now, here are some prayers you could use to ask God:

For our prayers:

  • As always, please pray, that in all we do, God will be exalted!

  • That as part of the family of God, here in Bluntisham, we are all able to keep the original vision at the forefront of our minds, as we move forward:

Our vision is for an attractive, God-centred church building……
Our vision is for a building that is accessible to everyone………
Our vision is for the building to be updated to modern standards.

  • Now that the tenders have been received, please pray for the work being done by the QS this month, looking at the price, written answers to key questions and interviews. Please also pray for members of the NS team who will be undertaking due diligence with regards to the tenders.
